Miss Ezzie's Legendary Lowcountry begins back in the late 1930's. Miss Ezzie was born in Horry County South Carolina, the daughter of a share cropper. She moved to Charleston as a teenager, got married and had a family. She learned how to cook and can from her mother-in-law. She would often experiment and conjure up recipes with local ingredients along with things from her garden.
