Sea Island Blackening Seasoning

Our local spice and all purpose seasoning blend for blackening and seasoning food. Blackening refers to the dark "crust" like coating when cooking food with this type of seasoning and a hot pan. It is slightly spicy and the more you use the hotter it gets. We like using this seasoning on local seafood including fish, shrimp and oysters. It is also good for chicken, steaks and hamburgers. We make great seafood even better! A 6 oz plastic shaker.
